Artist Statement

This project was intaglio printing. For my print I chose to depict a wolf howling at the sky. I used cross hatching for my shading. I chose tho wolf because it is a symbol of independence and power.

I chose to call my piece "Lone Wolf" due to the fact that I was trying to portray the solidarity of a wolf. I feel like I was able to capture my emotions of being on my own and being self dependent. i was very happy with the end result of my print in came out with the same dark eerie vibe that I was going for.

The final product was exceptional, I was very proud of the work that I did. The final image was exactly what I was going for. I feel like this is best work yet.
